I like both, I like the newer black and white Ford logo much better than the blue and chrome. I always ptm mine anyway.

That engine may have its roots in the Model AFirst Ford logos I recall. And the second one is the one I remember the most.
I consider myself a GM person but I grew up around an 8N Ford. My grandaddy's was the first. After seeing what a workhorse it was, I got one for some property I owned. Easy to work on and you could find parts at NAPA or the TSC store.

It's actually funny how the font/typeface has stayed so consistent. The basic oval design goes back to 1912, over 100 years. Though the "Blue oval" style is only 98 years old, was adopted in 1927.First Ford logos I recall. And the second one is the one I remember the most.

I doubt Ford will still be around by then. They're hanging on by a thread as it is.That's a "heritage" thing" I doubt you'll ever see that go away. Get a time machine and flash away to the future and you'll probably see it on a starship or a land speeder.
