I wonder if this will solve the issue with the blue oval falling off (bad glue) after prolonged exposure to heat? I see them off all the time, especially when I lived in San Antonio
Reminds me of the penchant for the original Maverick to shed it's grill emblem. I can remember epoxying it back on on my father's 1971 for him back in the day. Don't remember how it was originally held on. Did not seem to be heat related as we were in Maine at the time. Was a heavy piece, however.

Probably why it's black and no chrome - it's cheaper.
Well, Yes... That would be cheaper...
But, there are health and environmental concerns from it's manufacture.
Several Countries have started to ban it's use...
