Congrats on your good fortune. Maybe consider buying a lottery ticket too.

Good fortune!Just got a call from my dealer. I did the online reservation thing last year but never followed through with the order. It seems Ford built my Maverick anyway and they wanted to know if I still wanted it. So it looks like I'm trading in my 2021 Honda Accord for this Maverick Lariat.
Autonation Ford in St. Pete.Which dealership was that? I've called all the dealerships in the Tampa area and have been pretty scummy with their ADMs. Glad to see they actually did someone good.
I didn't try AutoNation in St. Pete, but I have called a couple other AutoNations. They are one of the only chains that hasn't added the ADMs. They also never have anything available. It won't show the ADM on the Window Sticker, it will be on the dealer's sticker or invoice. If what they charged you is the Window Sticker, then congrats you got MSRP.Autonation Ford in St. Pete.
So if there was an ADM, how would I know? The sales guy sent me the sticker. There is nothing on there that indicates an ADM. I assume this means there isn't one?
I honestly didnt want to wait so went a different direction until this came up, so I haven't been keeping up with all the drama.
They had to have your license info somehow to submit an order in your name. I thought that if you had taken a test drive there sometime before, they would have that.yes, I went by there yesterday and drove it. Why do you ask?
Not sure how they placed the order. All they had from me is my Name, address and phone number. They had to have your license info somehow to submit an order in your name. I thought that if you had taken a test drive there sometime before, they would have that.
And the fact that I didn't RUSH into any decisions........LOLWell, right now it's your good fortune that's putting you in the "Limelight". A lot of people on this forum have been ripped off by "Fly by Night" dealerships. I think your approach of putting in an order but then not obsessing about it demonstrated the fact that you have "Freewill".
Am I under detection risk if I ask dealer for a free pair of walking shoes?I’m curious, what was the paranoia you detected?
