I'm running cables across the cowlings from passenger to driver side. I'm trying to find something that would work well to hold multiple cables in place going across that doesnt look horrible. I was using zipties for a single cable but now that its several cables, Its not looking too good.

Black split loom. I'd take a picture, but I'm rerunning my cables right now and it's kind of a mess...

Is there anything holding it in place? I understand it groups the together but what holds it in place

My cables are just the right thickness to fit between the plastic nubs on the passenger side of the cowling. You can also use zip ties to hold the cables against the firewall..there are some cutouts in the metal. I don't remember if they were easily visible from the top...will take a look later and see if I can post a picture.

I was thinking of doing this but am too lazy to remove it. Is there decent space to ziptie them away from the wiper motor/arms?

I think he means this...

Ford Maverick Need cable management solutions Split loom, plastic

Which I have also, used in the past. Works well..
Just get the correct size (diameter) for the number of wires being covered...

Yes. There's quite a bit of room. You can run the wires by removing the snap clips on the front and lifting it up .

I use the black split loom stuff and if need be I have used these stick on holders. They work pretty good and no problems with engine heat.

Probably from the sides towards the fenders, but I'm curious to know too...

The cowling is held on with 6 little spring clips , remove with a little screwdriver. Just dont drop them . Cowl is pressure fit into zip lock type groove along windshied , pops right out .

High temperature fabric or plastic split loom. Rivnuts to create proper mounting points along the firewall. Cable screw clips to attach to the Rivnuts and secure the cable.

It takes a little more work but it will be OEM clean and permanent.
