MPG with 4K Tow Package?

Tad: a smidge, 1 mpg, little bit, not much. I’d think city mpg would go up when not towing or cargo loaded.

I see you mention the 93 Octane tune. I was just coming to ask what octane most are using in their Mav's. I suspect the vast majority are filling with 87 Octane?

'24 with fx4 and tow package. 245/65/17 Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail. First trip. Using premium. Driving conservative in Eco (added Eco and Sport) 27.5. Could've probably got it to touch 28. Rest of trip, driving normal 26.1. About what I expected with the tires.

25 Hybrids with 4K tow use the same final drive ratio as the FWD hybrids do. My 25 AWD 4K Hybrid gets better MPG than my 23 FWD 2K Hybrid did. Of course only relevant if you are going Hybrid.

I searched for MPG, Tow Package, etc but couldn't find anything on this issue:
Do Mavericks equipped with the 4K Tow Package like mine get fewer MPG's?

I know the 4K Tow Package includes a different gear ratio so that's why I ask.

I've owned mine now for almost a month and my city driving average is only 19 mpg. No major hills on the way to work and I've been driving like a senior citizen too ha ha.

18-19 is about right for city driving an EB. Good mileage is only in rural or highway driving.

22 XL AWD 4K (with tonneau). I’ve had it since December 22 and do almost exclusively short, 10-20 mile trips around town. Less than 17k miles after 2 1/2 years and I average about 23mpg.

I have a 2022 Ecoboost XLT AWD with towing package and get at least 28 mpg in combination driving. Pure hwyway, at least 33 mpg.

Just about the same on my 22 Eco XLT AWd

Reason I ask is, you've undoubtedly learned a few things in the last 2 years giving you a subconscious more efficient driving technique than 2 years ago. OTOH it would not surprise me if the 25 was a little better. Ford learned a few things too (probably).
