I have a 2024 FX4 with Tow pkg & only 2400 miles on it.
I’m seeing 25mpg combined, 20 city and up to 32 hwy.

I’m expecting my mileage to go up a little bit after the first oil change at 5000mi.
I’m super satisfied with what I’m currently getting though. Sure beats what I get in my 3/4 ton 4x4 Ram with the Hemi which has a combined avg of about 12mpg.

24XLT FX4 and 4K I just gassed up tonight actually, 100% stop and go city driving and my average is 23.8mpg
That's pretty standard for me and I definitely don't drive like a senior citizen.

Thanks for all the comments.
I have been doing exclusively city driving to work so my mpg makes sense, I guess.
I need to do a road trip to see what kind of highway mpg I get.
In your case the tow pack may get better as it’s geared more for that. But it’s so hard to predict city mpg because idling at lights and acceleration vary so vastly.

I have an XL AWD without the 4k and have averaged 31 mpg over the 18,000 miles I've had it, with some tanks close to 34-36 mpg overall

I searched for MPG, Tow Package, etc but couldn't find anything on this issue:
Do Mavericks equipped with the 4K Tow Package like mine get fewer MPG's?

I know the 4K Tow Package includes a different gear ratio so that's why I ask.

I've owned mine now for almost a month and my city driving average is only 19 mpg. No major hills on the way to work and I've been driving like a senior citizen too ha ha.
I've owned 2 ecoboost awd mavericks, my current has 4k tow and the other did not.

No difference in mpg in my usage. Even if there was, 4k tow is a must-have if you do any towing or frequent hauling because of the transmission cooler.

19 city with an ecoboost is definitely possible if you're remote starting or just having a little fun. epa rating is either 22 or 23 city, so even if you were seeing that number would it matter?

my 2023 Lariat with FX4 gets 28.5 U.S. mpg in the city-and about 35-37 on the highway.

Yes, it does make sense. Be careful comparing your MPG to others. There are many, many factors that can affect results.

I got 31.3 on a recent beach trip. Usual around town driving is in 28 - 29.

Wisdom and experience tells us that most men will lie about 3 things:
1. How important they are and their income level.
2. Frequency of sexual encounters and size of their Johnson.
3. The gas mileage that their vehicle gets.

The Mathematics department at Texas A & M University is still trying to work out a formula to use to correct the values of these 3 things.

No doubt the 91 km/h (56.6mph) average over those 2-1/2 hours helped achieve that result.

I averaged roughly 30MPG traveling no more than 60MPH over the weekend while camping. I had a load of gear.
