Those are terrific photos. Nice work!Took the xlt to Death Valley/Furnace Creek over the weekend. Thought you might enjoy these pictures of it.
Doesnt need it. Tent floor is designed to be supported on just the ladder.Would a hitch mounted load support help support the overhang of the tent floor? Or maybe vertical poles under outside corners?
Awesome set up. What are specs? Tent? Crossbars? Etc.
Now that I see a setup which doesn't completely destroy aerodynamics, I'm becoming more interested.
Details please!!!
Love it! We need some part numbers though man!
Sorry for the late replies.I like that the tent is bed mounted and not on lifted yakima rails, need to see the parts list.

Looks great. Do you have a picture of the turn buckles and under mounting?Sorry for the late replies.
This may be a little confusing and possibly unhelpful because the tent actually came on a Manely ORV trailer and it doesnt have any branding. Their website (ManelyORV.com, under "Upgrades") states that it is an "OZtrail Venturer tent". I tried to research it to provide you with part numbers but surprisingly couldnt find much on it, although the "Smittybuilt Overlander Roof Top Tent - 2783" quite literally looks like the exact same tent just with Smittybuilt branding!
As for rails and stuff there are none lol. The tent already had aluminum rails attached to the bottom for it to fasten to the Manely ORV. I added eyelets to it and then used turnbuckles to fasten it straight to the anchors that the maverick bed already has, this not only pulls it downwards but also pulls all 4 corners away from eachother, making it very stable.
This means it was quite literally the easiest tent install imaginable with no added parts at all except for the turnbuckles.
If the Smittybuilt tent is in fact the same product then that means its a perfect fit for the maverick bed. I would like to somehow see if the Smittybuilt has the same aluminum rails on the bottom as mine does or it that was added by Manely.
