It's been a long time since I've bought a new vehicle, but are heated/ventilated in the rear a thing now?Ventilated seats and rear heated and/or ventilated seats.
I've seen it as a high trim option in the Subaru Outback and in the F150. It is pretty rare and pretty pricy, but it's out there.,It's been a long time since I've bought a new vehicle, but are heated/ventilated in the rear a thing now?
Our Audi has heated rear. People are having a hard time comprehending that this is an entry-level vehicle. Yes, you can order some nice options, but it is still entry-level.It's been a long time since I've bought a new vehicle, but are heated/ventilated in the rear a thing now?
I was surprised the Charger, Soul and Outback has them!!I've seen it as a high trim option in the Subaru Outback and in the F150. It is pretty rare and pretty pricy, but it's out there.,

Had it in my Toyota Avalon and now the Lexus ESIt's been a long time since I've bought a new vehicle, but are heated/ventilated in the rear a thing now?
I get that this is an entry level vehicle, but I think the point of this thread is to give people a chance to say what they wished Ford would've offered as an option. I'm sure if it was profitable to offer an option, say something like a Flux Capacitor, Ford would have done it.Our Audi has heated rear. They went through the 'cannibalize' once before when they dropped the Ranger, then selling over 60,000 units annually, produced in the MN plant that would be shuttered when production stopped. Made no sense to ignore the sales to me. Ranger buyer is NOT an F-150 buyer for the most part, so they all went to Taco, Colorada, etc. Hundreds of thousands of sales, little to no extra work to keep the line going, and a lot of formerly brand-loyal customers jumping ship. Seems to me to be a blatant mis-call.While true, I also suspect Ford's strategy here is to encouge those who want extra features to not just jump trim levels, but jump to Ranger or F150. They do not want to cannibalize sales. Especially in the most profitable segment(s) (trucks/, suv's). Just my thinking...
True, they did. I'm not saying it's a good strategy, just one I know Ford misbelieves in.They went through the 'cannibalize' once before when they dropped the Ranger, then selling over 60,000 units annually, produced in the MN plant that would be shuttered when production stopped. If they fear cannibals, then they ought to consider IMPROVING the MENU. Duh.
I stuck with my old Ranger, still have it, and never considered buying a F-150, it can't fit in my garage easily. And I am old, so not in their 'targeted' audience. But I do have dollars to spend that they never saw... Cannibals. My left tibia.

This is the answer right here. I don't know who came up with the idea of a two-tone brown/black interior for the top level trim, but I don't think it was a good choice. Some love it, some hate it, but the real problem is its so polarizing. I would really like to understand the cost/benefit analysis of not offering a plain black or at least the black/navy option on the Lariat, either in addition to or instead of the brown/black currently offered.Black interior on the Lariat.
EXACTLY! That is why I started this thread. It was not to get into pontifications that this is an entry level vehicle and you can't get options. The idea is to discuss what options you wish Ford would have offered.I get that this is an entry level vehicle, but I think the point of this thread is to give people a chance to say what they wished Ford would've offered as an option. Yeah, I was a bit surprised that Fog light option wasn't there, but as we've reminded this is an entry level vehicle!EXACTLY! That is why I started this thread. There's a reason why the F-150 comes in plain jane and Platinum editions.
There's been some good ideas put forth.
I would have ordered a lighting option that included fog lights and puddle lights as an example. That falls under safety.......
Find an automotive custom shop in your area, they can probably install rear seat heat pads.Ventilated seats and rear heated and/or ventilated seats.
Ahhh, it's Brown/BLUE not Black. If Black I would be okay with it.This is the answer right here.
