Does any current XL owners know if glove box has a lock? What about center console does it have a lock? If they don't have locks anyone figured out a way to install a lock. Need a place to keep concealed weapon.

No and No. There is a ford lock box you can buy for the
center console and one that fits under rear seat.

Pretty sure the Center Console Vault is still an option with the XL. But that's the only one I've heard about.

One question, though- how much benefit would "this is an obvious aftermarket lock addon" have compared to just "out of sight, out of mind"?

Almost got this.... Still can. There is a video on YouTube for installation

No locks. I use this under the back seat. Lock cable is looped around some structure in the back of the truck.

i think "out of sight out of mind" is the best option.
