Metallic Sound when turning ignition off?

Can someone tell me if the metallic sound I hear everytime I turn the ignition off is supposed to happen? It sounds like a solenoid engaging/retracting or something.

Crinkling? I mean you always hear the little pings from the metal of the exhaust cooling. That is not the sound I am referring.

You may be hearing the flaps in the grill closing. They are electronic.

Here's my post and video about the same sound - happens a few seconds after power down. I feel it comes from underneath the truck more so than the front (so not the shutters). It could be related though.

I also hear the sound when de-accelerating from 15mph to 10mph. Generally around 13mph.

Yup, that's EXACTLY the sound I have when parking and turning the vehicle off.

Yah, I have a curse of noticing every noise on every vehicle I have owned that sounds "off".

Pretty sure it is the active grille shutters closing. It does it on every shut down on mine. The shutters close on the grille so the engine stays warm and warms up faster
