Mufflers are not covered by any Ford warranty unless you can prove manufacturing defect. They are treated like tires or windshield wipers etc or air filters. Anything behind the CAT/GPF is considered a “consumable”.From the looks of my factory exhaust, it will be doing good to make it thru a second winter. Nature will be modifying mine soon enough. I will have to wair and see if Ford will cover that under the emission warranty. Probably not.
So, if I change the OEM muffler, I won't have any future warranty problems?Mufflers are not covered by any Ford warranty unless you can prove manufacturing defect. They are treated like tires or windshield wipers etc or air filters. Anything behind the CAT/GPF is considered a “consumable”.
You won’t have problems with the ford muffler warranty - because you never had one to begin withSo, if I change the OEM muffler, I won't have any future warranty problems?
Sorry lost my password a couple of years ago and never bothered to reset it lmao. Ive had the resonator delete for almost three years now and still one of my favorite mods to this day. I have gotten 0 complaints from passengers about highway drone and it has never bothered me!I like the stock look of the exhaust pipe as it's out of site and not thd main rear attraction.
Someone who didn't know thought my Maverick was electric (sitting in a parking lot) because you don't see it.
This sound is very similar to the "performance" ones available. Also the after market ones remind me too much of a Tundra or Tacoma as it exits the left rear and visible.
Do you get a lot highway drone? I watched your previous in truck video, but want to make sure the video sound is an accurate representation.
