Auto Stop-Start and turning off ignition

Is there anything problematic in turning off the ignition when stopped while the truck is in Drive, instead of moving the dial to Park and then turning ff the ignition. This is when Auto Stop-Start is active: I pull into my driveway, apply the brake and the engine stops – if I move the shifter to Park, the engine starts, which seem like a waste.

I don't think so, other than a little bit of wear on the key mechanism since if you turn it off in drive you have that little wiggle you have to do to get the key out. Probably mitigated by one less flip of the gear selector knob.
