Ouch. Squirrels dropped a full pinecone on my hood (like a mini torpedo) and it dented my hood. Really hoping PDR can get it out. Havenāt tried yet. Hard to capture in a pic.I would go look at it before they repair so they you can see the severity of the dents.
If there are any dents on an edged surface or missing paint, PDR is not going to be enough.
There are numerous edges on the hood. This dent required a replacement hood. (Edit: there's a lot of shadows and reflections in my pic but it's one dent caused by a forearm in the center of the image. Don't even think about sitting on or leaning heavily on the hood, it's aluminum.)

My 2010 highlander has sat under the same tree for years with no problem. Not impressed with the aluminum, seems very weak.
