This happened over the weekend I backed my 2023 Ford Maverick into another car. Does anymore know around how much it would cost to get fixed from ford from a similar situation? Also the blind spot sensor on this side is not working as well.

The cost is the deductible fee on the claim of your automobile insurance policy.

Well if plastic tabs on lower bumper cover are broken it’s around 350-400. for the cover , the light is just over 200 and probably 600-800 for bodywork and paint . With all labor a descent shop(independant) 1600-2000$, ford dealer auto body shop add $1000 to $1500

If it were me and lets pretend insurance just wont touch it.

Id just get the light lense to 'make it legal'

The bumper might be just fixable but I don't know what it would take to pop the corner out.

Consider getting an estimate from a reputable body shop in your area, you might be shocked at the cost. Do you damage the other person’s vehicle, think that would be your responsibility also

Go get a free estimate and you’re gonna be shocked I would think somewhere between 3000-6000 dollars . You may say I’m crazy, but you’re gonna be surprised. Parts and labor relative nearly doubled in the last five years

I would be walking into the body shop expecting 5 Grand. Over the past 3 years I continue to be amazed at how expensive every thing is even when walking in with inflated expectations. At my age it is just mind boggling to me what things cost now.

On the other hand, it just may be cheaper to replace the rear quarter panel given the fact it is 100% bolt on with 16 bolts.

I had a little oopsie and needed a front bumper cover (which is 2 pieces evidently), a side marker light, wheel refinishing, and some paint work - it was about $4k. Everything was fully operational and looked much less damaged than yours, but was still exceedingly expensive to repair/replace.

This is what insurance is for. Go to a good body shop that works with your insurance and let them figure it out.

All we can do is guess.

Take it in for an estimate at a body shop and use your deductible on your insurance, because I'm willing to bet it will be well over $1k.

Bumper, rear quarter panel, tail light at the very least. It's what's going on underneath that we can't see.

New quarter panel paint matched, new bumper, new light housing, labor, taxes: about $4K.

I would go to a local repair shop for an estimate before having my insurance company getting involved. You will have to pay your deductible, anyway, so since the damage in very minor the last thing you need is a Carfax report that states the truck had collision damage.

Not sure, but I think the BLIS sensor is also in the tail light. If true, that would 'splain why your BLIS is not working right.

You might at least have a paintless dent removal guy look at it too. Some of them still so some paint work, or might be able to work a miracle and it 90% fixed. Sometimes bumpers can be heated and popped back out.
