So my 2022 fwd ecoboost with 20k miles shakes like crazy during acceleration. So I took it to the dealer today only for them to say they are calling in a ford engineer to figure out the problem. I've read on here about the hybrid models having the same problem and that the axles have been the culprit. Do the hybrid and ecoboost use the same axles?

well documented issue...

Yea I kinda figured. I'm surprised the dealer can't figure that out.

Tell your dealer to look through tech hotline reports. There's nothing in workshop manual that points to this CV axle as the issue (that I found at least...but I'm not a technician!). There are multiple reports from other dealer's contacts w/ the tech hotline ("Global Technical Assistance Center") that describe this issue and describe the repair. They are all on hybrids..... but the info should still point them in the right direction!

They are different parts for hybrid and EB.

Thanks for the advice. Wasn't sure if same axles were used in hybrid and eco.

Hi there, Justin! Go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer, and I’ll look into this shaking concern. Thanks!
