Those were built as a joint venture between GM & Toyota at the Fremont Ca factory that Tesla eventually repurposed for their EVs.

One of my bicycle shop customers worked there & built my Vibe. He bought a bike from me first and I returned the favor.

The lease was up on my loved but discontinued Aztec - and the Vibe was a mini Aztec in my view

I'm pretty sure most of us in the chat will remember them at least I know I will as it's my first truck I remember all my past vehicles. They all have their place for one reason or another.

If, and that is a big IF, I am still around in 25 years I doubt I will remember my name let alone a truck I had 25 years earlier.

25 years is not a long time if you are 25 to 50. If you are 65 to 80 it is a quite likely a the rest of your life or longer

Yes, but that is longer than many of us here have, even statistically. Nobody really knows of course, but it really is brought home to me because what are now my "collector vehicles" all started as my daily drivers. A '65 Corvette bought used in my early twenties, an '83 5.0 Mustang Vert bought new and a '93 Nissan NX 2.0 bought used at seven years old.. I am unlikely to see my Maverick reach the age of the Nissan not to even think it could last so long, let alone being collectable. To me, twenty five years is an eternity but, might be here before I know it.

That's what's kind of sick, in '93 my stable consisted of a '66 Charger 383, '70 Monte Carlo 350/4, a pair of '70 Cougars (1 XR7), a project '68 Monaco, and the odd duck a '77 Dodge Royal Monaco Brougham. Thirty three years ago nobody care, now they're droolers. C'est la vie!
