I ordered a ‘24 XL 4K in August, dealer recently called and said it will be ready in November !
I was expecting it to be ready in the spring and I wasn’t planning on driving it in our salty Ontario winters, as I have a couple of winter vehicles already.
I asked him about maybe making a few bucks on this one and reordering and he said he’s not even interested in it, he has a couple of used ones and one new on the lot already. His lot is full of new F150’s and some other assorted overpriced metal.
I even put an ad on Kijiji , it’s been a week and no interest at all !
Im happy to take it, just letting others know that if where you live prices are still high and you were considering selling - maybe now’s a good time.

I have one coming in January (so they say) and I'm driving one I'm going to sell. So, I hope the bubble stays for a bit.

When the Maverick was introduced in 2021 the XL base price was $19,995.

The XL base price today is $23,400. Looks like inflation is a big part of the increase.

With this economy it’s hard to fault anyone for asking for money. All kinds of reasons for higher prices besides wages.

I think demand for Maverick remains high but is only because it will remain more affordable than the rest of the options. They are going up too.
