Please consider making one that looks more like a OEM Side Vent that lights up using a amber lense and leave the top blank so I can install my “Lariat” Badge the ones offered are just strange looking nothing about them says “Maverick” I want more of a stock look and I think a lot of Maverick owners do too

Thanks for acknowledging the issue. Don't get me wrong - I love the look and functionality the lights add to my Maverick. I just don't like buying a product made for my purpose that I have to modify to work for my purpose. I was able to take a fine tooth file and slowly - ever so slowly - file down the edge enough that now I have just a little "click" as the passenger door opens. I lost my daylight before I could file down just a mm or so more to complete the job. I'll have to work on that next weekend and live with it for the rest of the week.

Not asking you to replace the light, although once you get the passenger side fixed, offering a replacement by side of use would be nice.

Yes, we are aware of the issue and are actively working on a solution for the passenger side.

Honestly? The Food Stamp Edition? You bought the cheapest truck on the market! Lariat or not it is still the best budget friendly truck out there. You want to degrade those who might not have it like you do!?! Brother There are plenty of things I would like to call you but I am a better man! I am a disabled man who lives on a very small monthly budget. I raise 5 daughters and i have made this work for me. This is the truck I can afford. You sir have no right to degrade those who bought somethig they are proud of. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I have also installed these new redesigned Mabbett 2.0 version side maker lights as well on my 2025 Maverick XLT. Previously, I had the side maker lights version 1.0 that had the water condensation issue on the passenger side. The issue that I have now is that on the passenger side, the new side marker lightly rubs on the paint each time I open or close the door. I have tried to pry in over to the front as much as possible, but in so doing broke two of the tabs off inside. I think that it is a quality control issue. I am messaging Mabbett on Amazon for some guidance or replacement of the passenger side marker.

Just installed mine today. Passenger side needed to be filed down so door would not pinch it. Wiring it up was easy. Hardest part was removing the original support pins. I added some after market XLT labels.

Thanks! I didn't know that I should have modified them prior to installation. I am reluctant to remove the right side again as I have already broken off two of the tabs. If Mabbett won't replace it, then will remove it and file it down like you did.

I used my electric hand sander. It is weird how it doesn't fit on that side. But because the Tonka Maverick guy said he had this issue, I was ready to sand it down. You can't tell it was sanded from the outside. Take your time when you do it.

And you're right, it was pure hell taking out the old clips!!

How disappointing, the passenger side door hits the new side marker light ! An associate
purchased one also and it does the same thing on both 2025's. We are sending them back today.

Bring back the old ones, they look much better, fix the leaking, include the wire harness, and you will have a winner!

I agree. The old design is better. If they apply the new wire harness and Amber color, I'll buy it to upgrade.

I have also installed these new Mabett side maker lights as well on my 2022 Ford Maverick XL. I can't open passenger side door,so I had to dismantle it. I hope Mabett will replace my passenger side marker light.
