Some states, including the P. R. of Vermont do not allow any tinting on windshields.
Vermont allows non-reflective tinting above the AS-1 line on the windshield though....

That's what a warranty, and extended warranty are for. I use mine all the time and will continue to!
I will do the same, I ordered a Lariat loaded with sunroof. They can keeping working on it till its right if something is wrong or bad workmanship is corrected.

I would avoid using the sunroof. There is a little plastic clip in it that keeps the window from slamming and shattering when opening/closing. That little plastic clip moves with every use and will get so far pushed back into the mechanism, that the window will no longer be operational. The fix is over $2k as they have to pull out the whole sunroof to get to it.
They say parts that are not there don’t break...
I worked at a MB dealer in wholesale parts and sold so many panoramic sunroof parts I could spec them by heart. About $3-$5 k on that one. Also the panel right in front of the sunroof tended to come unglued and fly off into traffic😳 luckily there
w as a recall for that one...

RE: Sunroof - I have a sunroof on my '22 Lariat EB. My trucklet has 8,700 miles on it and I use the sunroof all the time for ventilation in conjunction with the Lariat's power sliding rear window. Seldom need to use A/C. I have had absolutely no issues with the the sunroof or the shade. Is the plastic clip that moves located in the track or? Please advise. Since you mentioned it, I would like to check it. [I have a '24 hybrid Lariat in production this week with a sunroof] Thanks for the heads up on this topic - it is the first I have heard.

Another reason I don't get sunroofs anymore. They are nice, but if you've ever needed one fixed... my gawd...

There was a huge amount of blow back for the air bag recalls from dealerships screwing up headliners and such, just imagine them working on a sunroof.

Yea it's pretty bad. Don't forget your sunstrip on the front window! Have them go about an inch below the "legal" line otherwise it won't even meet where your visors drop. They should line it up with the rear view mirrors console.

lol no.

Only $50k "mid size trucks" get those now days apparently.

INB4 the "you bought a budget vehicle" crowd chimes in about shaving features to save a penny.

I bought the nicest package available for a reason. If I wanted budget I would have gone with an XL...
Giant trucks need folding mirrors because they are giant trucks. This is not that.

Dealer called and said he had a 23 lariat hybrid that the customer bailed on.

It was fully loaded..... Lux package, 360 asst. Moon roof, even loved the color!!!!

Was perfect....... bought it instantly with no haggling.....

Driving home and I'm like "what's up with this sun"? Then I realized there is not a drop of tint anywhere on this thing.

Is tint not an option? Who orders a fully loaded truck with no tint???

Just though it was odd!!!! Cool little truck though still.
We can't have tinted windshields in our state. There's plenty of companies that do that, it's not too expensive and If i lived in Florida or Arizona I'd have that put on, on my way home from the dealership:) good luck, you'll love the Maverick in the Lariat trim.

I lived in Floriduh for 21 years. I saw cars there that were so heavily tinted, that I think a .223 would just bounce off. I put 30% on my pickup. When I moved, a local cop said take it off or get a ticket. I took it off.

Strange how some vehicles come with them and not just giant trucks then...

Gotta be more than one reason.

You mean like giant SUVs, giant limousines, etc?

Standard parking spot is 8 feet = 96 inches wide.
F150 with mirrors out is 95.7 inches wide.
F150 with mirrors FOLDED is 86 inches wide.
Maverick with mirrors out is 83.5 inches wide.

IDK what other vehicles have automatically folding mirrors, but I'm going to assume they are WIDE or way more expensive than a Mav.

A lot of "luxury" cars do- mostly German. The streets are stupid narrow there, so it is a thing so they don't get busted off as often.

No it doesn’t but then again it’s not nearly as wide as mid or full size trucks so there really isn’t a need for them.
Neither does our Hyundai Palisade which is a full sized SUV. I was kind of disappointed about that. Didn't expect the Maverick to have that feature since as you stated it's not that wide, but I bet someone somewhere is thinking about a hack!
