make it more street truck friendly. I want the same thing. 2” -3” lower. Like the Old GMC Syclone. Street sport truck. Tired of all these over sided Carolina squat tires past the fenders ugly monsters running around.

Change the color to Carbonized Gray...And that would be the Rat Rod I want.....

H&R got back to me, they will definitely have options for the Maverick. Too early in the R&D to give specifics, but they said to check back periodically for updates. I'll keep you all posted as more info becomes available.
Thanks for the update! I'm looking forward to hearing more.

For the current Escape, H&R makes both raising and lowering springs ;)

But yeah, I'm thinking I'll lower mine instead of lifting like I previously mentioned. It's an addiction, I know..

As I am a moron, help me understand the dynamics of a set of raising springs. Will a longer, extended strut be needed? What about running a spacer set up (similar to that of fordrangerlifts.com) in conjunction with the springs? Would that work? Would the net effective lift be both that of the springs and spacers combined?

Respectfully, STFU.

Yeah, these guys forget a real truck has a frame. These are more like a car than a truck.

From what I've seen around town and in my travels around the country, if it sits on 4 wheels, it can be lowered!! 🤣 🤣

STFU is not respectful lol. People have their opinions. I think it looks good lowered, although I probably won't be motivated enough to spend the money and risk worsening the ride.

Based on a movie quote.
I can say whatever I want if I start or end with “respectfully” or “with all due respect”.

With all due respect this isn't the early 1900s. Demanding trucks get crappy MPG, be slow as F, be able to pull a house, and be built on a frame is just plain crazy talk. Welcome to the modern age respectfully. The Maverick is a category changer.

I watched a video on lowering the transit connect & it looks extremely easy. I'm 65 & will be 66 by the time I see my hybrid, the spring kits will be everywhere
