how many of you are getting constantly flashed when on low beams? Do I need to get these adjusted or is it just the way it is?
I don't get flashed on low. Lights on Maverick are quite good in my experience. I'm not missing frog lights at all.

I had that happen a few times when I first got my 22 XLT but had the dealer lower the lights just a little. I think that a big part of it is that the Mav uses all 4 lights as the low beam. This is unusual and is sure to make other drivers think the high beams are on.
I wish the daytime running lights just used the turn signal lights like the Lariat or just one headlight on each side.

I do wonder about the aim of my headlights on the Maverick. I've only been flashed seriously once last winter by someone in an older car. They did it over and over on a long stretch of road, till I bumped the high beams one to show them they were wrong.

The cut off seems higher than I would have expected, but part of it may just be the height of the headlights above the road? If I'm stopped at a t-junction for a two lane road the bright part of the beam pattern will be rather high on the amber sign with the <--- ---> on it. I'll have to look in the manual to see if they can be adjusted or if the dealer has to do it.
See "Adjusting The Headlamps" in Maintenance section of manual. Page 313 in 2022 Manual. I leave mine in automatic high beam. They work really well and adjust frequently. On down side while driving on dark road you get high beams at 32mph which drop to low beams when slowing down (at 26mph). If you are on a curve and truck points to a porch light high beams drop to low until truck points without the light in the apparent path. High/low happens also when tail lights are seen. The lights automatically dimming is sign to all traffic in front of you. Also note that the passenger side, not shining directly into the oncoming traffic shines higher than the drivers side which might be designed to keep the passenger ditch more well lit! It shows pattern in manual and in order to properly align the headlamps you need to cover the one you are NOT aligning! If you are driving below 32mph in deer crossing area just manually set to high beams. They will go back to auto high/low when you manually turn off or at next drive cycle if you left auto on.

Yeah, I recalled there was something about it, it's been over a year since I read the thing from cover to cover. I turned off auto high beams within weeks of getting the truck, it was flashing people. I don't drive before dawn or dusk often, and live in the city with street lights, so not much need for them anyway.

Whenever driving after dark, so 70% of my winter driving, I get it twice a night at least. I never use my brights unless there are zero other cars on the road in front of me for deer... Until I kept getting flashed, where now every time someone flashes me, i put on, and keep on my high beams. Got tired of it when I was in areas with streetlamps, like people honestly use high beams in town.

I'm glad they're bright. I get out of work at night a lot and need those bright LEDs to drive home. Being a Lariat, I have the added DRLs which give off even more brightness. I've only been flashed once or twice so it's not a big issue. And what's funny is that the headlights are not even that advanced. They're the reflector style units instead of the more premium projector beams.

This topic comes up every few months and I've tested this out in the wild while waiting for mine to be built. In our Corolla (manual rear view), the Mav lights are brighter than most of the other cars on the road (luxury cars being the worst offenders) and I've had to flip the mirror. In my Cruze, I have an auto dimming mirror which takes care of the worst of it, but can be fairly annoying still at a red light.

Recently rented a RAV4 on vacation and I'm the one instance I was ahead of a Mav they looked normal (manual rear view). I think it may just be the designed aim/angle of the lights, and the Mavs are definitely not the only offenders. Will probably be less of an issues as manufacturers make less and less sedans.

I like the LED Box High/Lows on my XLT. I don't like the amber DRLs. I'm changing them to bright white LEDs which will change to amber for turn signals.

Have the headlight alignment checked or do it yourself. Its not hard.

On my mustang, I had to level my headlights because they were pointed way too high. I have heard that headlights are not leveled very precisely from factory. Sit in front of a wall or garage 10ft away, if the light hits the wall above the hood of your truck your lights are pointing up and probably blinding people down the road. They should have a cut off line with a different pattern for left and right headlight (left dips down more to lessen blinding for oncoming traffic before angling back up again).

The taller the vehicle the more important it is to actually angle your headlights slightly down. Example A when a big ol lifted truck doesn’t do this and now his headlights are at eye level for your typical sedan.

But my Mav doesn’t arrive until spring so what do I know 🤷🏻‍♂️

Most DIY instructions say 25 feet away from a wall. and level or slightly down.

Had it happen once as I turned onto a road with a slight incline for me and the approaching down hill vehicle flashed their lights at me. I figured it was because of the angle of my lights into their vehicle at that point.

I have not been flashed in my Mav; Actually, you are risking the other driver being blinded by flashing your brights and he/she loses control. Now if you get flashed when not in your Mav, feel free to flash your brightest back as often as you like! If you get lucky the flasher WILL lose control.................... :)
