I'm impressed with the brightness and the auto-high beam function... always seems to work fine for me. And in 17K miles I don't think anyone has ever flashed their lights at me.

Now, that all said, I'm in FL where there are a few mitigating factors:

The roads are all flat and straight, so it's rare that your car is angled up at another car as if cresting a hill.

There are a TON of lifted and aftermarket-lit trucks on the roads here, and they're FAR wore offenders -- perhaps in comparison no one has any issue with the Mav's lights.

Everyone is old in FL, so maybe they don't know how to flash their high beams... lol

I like the brighter OEM style lighting whether it's LEDs or projector style LEDs even HIDs in a projector. The lights that tend to be more blinding to oncoming traffic are when people swap and aftermarket LED bulb into a halogen housing that scatters light everywhere.

You see it mostly in lifted trucks and the truck owner never adjusted the headlights causing the light to blind the living shit out of anybody coming at them or driving in front of them. Most consumers aren't smart enough to realize headlights have a screw on them that can be adjusted to aim the headlight beam up or down as needed to keep from blinding other drivers on the road. Others just dont care.
When I was a kid in France most gas stations and garage had a small device on two wheels made by Cibie. On one side it was like lens to put against the headlight and on the other side it was like a dark screen on which one could see the headlight beam to adjust it precisely.
Most of the time the adjustment was free of charge

If the current bulbs are too bright, there are night time driving glasses available that help cut down the glare.
That’s what I use! They make a big difference when driving at night. And as I’m getting older, it gets worse.
