Been waiting 9 months now and converting to a '23. And, while I sincerely feel for those with mechanical/ electrical issues I'm hoping there's been manufacturing improvements to address those issues. As I mentioned somewhere before the dozen or so Maverick owners out in the wild I've met have been happy with no problems probably represent the majority so I'm optimistic. I wish there was a list of problems and fixes but I'll bet it's proprietary.

As a consumer it would be nice to have knowledge of line improvements/changes that address previously listed issues/recalls/etc- Probably asking for way too much though from Ford who still struggles with simple communication- lol

Someday, maybe, Ford will graduate from the two cans and a string approach.

I don't think anybody in any industry shares detailed assembly line changes if they have a choice. I used to be in large data storage devices, and we sure didn't. There are zillions of fixes, improvements, cost cutting measures during the lifetime of any complex product.

You don't want your customers to know any of that. If they have a faulty product, you don't want them to know that. If you have product that has "thermal events" like ours, you don't want them to know that. If the newer version is faster, or slower, or whatever, you don't want them to know that.

From a manufacturer's viewpoint, Ignorance is bliss.
