Look, Tim is a nice guy and has some very helpful information. But he's simply a good car salesman who works for a typical car dealership. Car dealerships are all the same, no matter what they claim otherwise.

Yes Paul, even $35k for a used XL is a rip.

I traded in my XL AWD with 4k this week for my Lariat.
They gave me 31, it’s already listed at 35, and Autonation doesn’t budge on price.

I won’t be surprised if it’s sold before they get my title. Insanity. My Hybrid Lariat Lux was less even without price protection.

When I sold my FWD XL EB back on 5/31 with 2,000 miles I got $34,500. The dealer who bought it priced it at $38,999. I'm sure they made a profit.

Long McArthur regularly advertises in FB groups brand new hybrids for $7500 markups. That would be less than this truck.

I saw this truck on a video today. It has 4k tow pkg, leather seats, a suspension lift, FX4 rims, and off-road tires, among other upgrades...might be priced high, but the pictures are correct...

It's not even new, which would be a little more understandable.

There are lots of these on Carvana in the same (or higher) price range.

I checked a couple months ago in my state, and only found one ‘22 being sold by any dealer. It was an XL with 5,000 miles for $39,995, which seemed insane. I imagine they were counting on one person out there that didn’t want to wait.
