Thanks Rick! Nice to hear from you again. I have owned BMW, Mercedes, and Jeep GC Ltd and this has more tech and is more fun to drive than any of those. Sure no piano black but it's a truck.

I started doing videos because I got tired of the big reviewers pretending to be experts based on a loaner. For example, most reviewers hate the hockey puck shifter. I doubt they realized it automatically shifts to park and the parking brake sets when you shut off the engine. It's also a safety feature because it shifts to park when you open the door. No more getting out and watching your truck roll into another car.

I also like auto brake hold for long stops at a light or in a long drive thru line at In-n-Out Burger. And I think it is a mistake to not get LUX pack with heated items. Even in SoCal we have cold snaps like right now. Yes we are soft compared to MN & Canada but we are not used to 40 degrees because the ocean moisture cuts right through.

If it were my wife’s daily driver or I took it to the cold and snow like you then Lux would have been a must have.

The Lariat has push button start over having to use a key. He isnt talking about just unlocking.

I would order a 2024MY exactly how you want. Sell one or keep both like I did. His and hers. Since you will have one, no rush on the next. Now that the Mav has the black app pack and you don't have to get the brown seats, I would order a Lariat 360 LUX, your wife is worth it!

It's great to walk up to a locked truck and the door handle just unlocks automatically because the proximity key is in my pocket. The key in my pocket also allows me to start the truck and drive off. If I had to choose between a standard key or a phone app for these features, the convenience factor is already lost and I'd prefer a standard key.

If your 23 is a hybrid, chances are there will be no decision because it will never get built since Ford has way more hybrid orders than capacity.

Yes, it's another hybrid. The wait isn't bad when you already have one. This decision is easy if the new one doesn't get built.

At 2 Mavs for the price of one full size, I recommend keeping them both like I did, spread the miles they will last twice as long. That will protect you from ever increasing truck prices.

I can't justify keeping them both unless the wife wanted one as a daily driver, and she doesn't. It's too bad, because I really liked the idea of his/hers Mavericks.

But watch out for HPR, it looks too orange in certain light.

I like range of color from HPR, even when it has the orange tint.

I love my AB color XLT. Per this video, it is deep blue in bright sun and almost black at night.

Don't get me wrong, I do like the AB a lot when it's cleaned up and in full daylight. I've been leaning towards just keeping it, but if resale is high enough to cover the new one, that HPR is so nice.

Yes when I ordered gray, I did not think it could be gold. It's hard to decide which color I like better. My alto hybrid is in Huntington Beach. (Oops, I see you are from TX so don't hold that agaist me, I not moving there!) My carb gray AWD is in Park City. l upoaded some videos playing in all the snow this year. If you ever get to either place let me know.

I have a black XLT EB Lux trading in on H ybrid Lariat Alto Blue. Wife has a XLT Hybrid Lux in Area 51, which she loves, but color not my cup of tea.

Hum, well Ford and every other auto mfg has Always had and always will have fleet customers that can order any model they want. They are entitled to the vehicle just as much as individuals

Right. I'm just saying to the people complaining that random people have 2 orders and others have 1 that it does not matter, as is it will barely impact your placement in getting a truck

Countrywide, yes they went down with the Great Recession. Let me know if you will be in HB where my hybrid sits in my driveway or Park City where my AWD is located. Lots of deep snow videos on my channel.
