They have a blue tint and don't match the headlight shade, otherwise pretty cool.

I likey, but like others said I'd probably want it on a separate switch so it wasn't potentially blinding other drivers.

I don't disagree, but having more light to the sides of the roadway may be a plus, especially in deer country.

Agreed. I'd much rather have more lights on the side of the roadway, assuming it puts out an adequate amount of light. I think the stock lights put out plenty straight ahead.

So with this hookup there is no way to turn them off since they are wired to the driving lights? Are they a focused beam, or are they more flood lights akin to off road lights? I like the setup and look, but I don’t want every car approaching me flashing their hi beams at me.

I'd be interested in what the driver's experience is when it's snowing or foggy with those on. I'm just thinking of how distracting it is when you hit your high beams in the fog or snow, and it's actually worse. Also, does it look like those are pointing arrow in the design? I wonder if they become a sequential turn signal and blinks amber when he puts his turn signals on?

Not sure about this one. Between the blinding height and mismatched color temperature it feels a bit half-assed.

It's a shame that isn't legal in Minnesota. Or probably quite a few areas. One set of headlights, one set of fog lights are ok, the grill mount would make it illegal as it becomes 3 sources of lights if operating at same time. Or at least that's what a state trooper told me when I did this to my Chrysler.
