Raptor Grill LED light bar

I have searched the forums and have not found anyone with information on this.

I am wondering if anyone has wired up the lower led bars that come with the raptor grill to a switch instead of the side marker? I am wanting to only have those LED bars light up either when my high beams are on or by just using a switch. I am not a fan of the look when they're on all the time as its too much lighting, I only see a good use for them driving in the night time.

If anyone has done this and has a step by step install that would be great.

Also if anyone has a tutorial how to tap into the side marker for the raptor amber lights that would be great too. Nobody posts the wiring part of the install.

The high beams are activated by LIN communication between the BCM and headlights. Since there isn't a discrete on/off power wire for the high beams, you would need a decoder to read the LIN bus. CANM8 in the UK claims to have a module that should work, but I don't know of anyone who has tried it. The side markers are a basic 2-pin power + ground. If you don't want to splice directly into the OEM wiring, you could use an inline tap harness. I've never bought from this site, but here's an example: https://customautoworksstore.com/product/2019-2023-ford-ranger-maverick-plug-play-connector/
