2024 Lariat - the headlights seem very dim to me compared to previous vehicles I have had . I don’t see real well at night so that compounds the issue. Adequate light cornering at night is poor. Is it just me or do others notice this as well? If so, are there options/mods to increase brightness?

What on Earth were you driving before?!

More constructively, you should probably check your aim. Make sure they're aimed just high enough, but not too high (so you don't blind the rest of us). Luckily the aim adjustment screws are easily accessible on the Maverick, much easier than any car I've had since sealed beams. (Yes, I am getting old. How did you know? Lol)

I find the Maverick lighting good enough for me but it's definitely not as good as some cars with more sophisticated headlight designs. The lighting pattern is probably as good as possible using a simple fixed reflector design. My previous Mazda with adaptive LED and projector lens was better for side lighting and pattern control.

Hmmm mine are so bright I can see a tick attached to a raccoons back running in front of me.

Maybe try pulling up to a building or garage door and see if the lights are aimed too low.

Old guy here, personally I find my Lariat heads excellent. I can see well at night and don't get flashed.
The only mods to address your issues that I'm aware of are ditch lights or fogs like the new Diode Dynamics bumper kit. I think the fogs are the way to go if you can get them installed, not an especially easy or cheap mod. But if your night vision is compromised you may need to go there.

I have an XLT. The headlights are the same on all 3 models. Lariat's have the DRLs on the top but the headlights are the same. That said, my XLT's are excellent, but I did notice I have slightly better cornering vision since I added the Diode Dynamics fog light kit.

My daylight running lights aren't particularly bright, but the actual headlights are.

They are not as bright as some, but brighter than most.

Only the F-150 Lariat I once borrowed was brighter than my Maverick Lariat.

Off topic but the DRL are brighter when your headlights are on auto vs parking light setting

As others said, check the aim.
Mine were grossly mis-angled from the factory.

The difference was literally like night and day.

I thought the stock headlamps sucked until I properly aimed them. Then like WOW!

Hybrid lariat 22. So bright I had to lower the aim a bit to quit getting flashed at. If I am hauling heavier loads in the bed at night the light angles up ending in a lot of unhappy oncoming vehicles. I almost considered getting some type of tinted headlight covers for those occasions. Only other option would to be turning off the headlights when meeting people. Just kidding…😁

That makes no sense. With auto-highbeams and a wide, flat pattern, the Maverick headlights are better than anything that I've driven before short of illegal rallye lighting. Maybe the problem is not the lights, but your eyes have developed cataracts or worse.

Did you see how super fast and easy it is to adjust the vertical aim of the lights? It should be on the back of everyone's sun visor (but it isn't).

People should twist the screw a couple of revs every time they drive with a load at night. Easy to change it back.

Easier than adding air to your tires.
