Larger oil filter

Is there a oil filter compatible with the ecoboost engine to hold 1/2 quart more of oil to get it to take 6 quarts of oil when changing oil instead of 5 1/2?

Same question came up on the Hybrid Mav, which uses the same oil filter.

A larger XG3600 (same size as an Amsoil EAO34 or Motorcraft FL400S) definitely fits the Hybrid Mav, and should fit the Ecoboost Mav too if it's not too long, and it does increase oil capacity for sure. Not half quart though. Prob more like an increase in oil capacity of 1/4 quart. Since an Ecoboost Mav is likely to consume a little oil, having a half quart spare for a few months is nice though.

A larger XG8A MIGHT fit and increases oil capacity even more, although I'm not sure if the XG8A is too wide;, I'll try it later on the Hybrid; ... only get an XG8A if you want to see if it clears; it might not.

Amsoil EAO34

I just received Amsoil EAO34 with signature oil. filter looks good. will do next oil change with amsoil filter and oil. I am pretty sure it will take 6 quarts vs. 5.7

So what’s the consensus her has anyone tried the xg8a filter I believe it’s the same size as the motorcraft FL1a that fits a million different applications.

XG8A and FL1A too wide. Not fit.
Fram [FE3600, XG3600, FS3600], FL400S, Wix 51516, MicroGard Select MSL51516, Royal Purple 20-400, Amsoil EAO34, all decent over-sized filters for the Mav Hybrid.
I don't think anyone has reported on whether they would clear the beefy shield on the Ecobeast engine Mav. Hybrid is fine with it.

Already ordered a wix 51348xp but after seeing the 51516, this one might be going back!

Have not changed my oil yet so haven't been under my Mav.
My question, what is the limit on the filter length?

I use an oversize WIX 51516XP on my Kohler powered zero turn that's just over 6 1/2" long.
Some of the Mustang folks use it on their 2.3L Ecoboosts and claim it allows a full 6qt fill.

XP = fully synthetic wire backed media, silicone valve, 27psi bypass, 8-10GPM, 21 microns
