I am averaging 31.7 over 11,000 miles traveled. I rarely take the truck on the freeway. However I live in the desert and use it to go from job site to job site. When I exit the truck I leave it running but put the AC on the lowest setting, so in essence my truck spends tons of time just sitting...
In my 23 hybrid the doors lock themselves a lot. The most frustrating situation them locking when I am not in the car and the car is running parked. I love In The desert it hit and I am in a construction business with lots of small jobs closely located to each other. I often drive from fro one...
This is the exact tire and size I’m considering. The only real downside is the weight. There have been no tires I could find in this size that are not 10ply E rated. So going to be 50lbs approximately. I really am strongly considering this size but I’m scared my hybrid will loose significant mpg...
Is there a method by which you tell the exact number of electric likes you have driven? My hybrid only has 3975 miles and my monitor is saying 76% oil life left which would put around 14,500 miles for my fire change. Seems crazy high but I’m in electrical for 40% of that then it’s only 5800...
I drive around town 75% and find it difficult to average over 38mph how much does the AC factor into this ? Must be a lot I live in a hot environment so cal desert
Towed the mastercraft x9 with our hybrid. Had concerns with the front wheel drive and traction pulling boat out but it’s was a non issue even with the crappy stock continentals!!!
So what’s the consensus her has anyone tried the xg8a filter I believe it’s the same size as the motorcraft FL1a that fits a million different applications.
Has anyone fit a 235/80/17 tire on their maverick and what was required to do so being as this tire is only 1/2” wider than stock I would think they larger diameter would not be as likely to run at full lock? Let me know what you guys think.
I have bought tires and let them sit for a year then mounted them and 2 of the 4 developed problems and would have blown out if I wasn’t watching them. So be careful with leaving them sitting for too long. These were Michelin tires not junk either
I just went from portland and drive back to Palm Springs lots of snow the first 200 miles. Once the roads were clear cruise was set at 82 down hwy 5. Avg 34.4 my first trip.
