2025 Lariat. Lane Keep Assist is not centered in the lane while on Highway. LKA favors the right by about 1 - 2 feet depending on the width of the Lane.

This makes me feel like I'm fighting the wheel to stay more left. LKA does keep the Maverick off of the right side white line. My passenger has confirmed that LKA favors right from visual in the front passenger seat.

Anyway of adjustment / Settings for this ?

I saw on another forum someone said it could be done with the "Adaptive Cruise Control toggle button" when I questioned this answer as I have not been able to do LKA Adjustment with the ACC. I asked the Person that posted for more info. for settings, they sent a link for Blue Cruise which the Maverick does not have.

Am I missing some knowledge for the LKA ?

I believe lane keep assist and lane centering are two different things. All trucks get the lane keep assist feature but only a specific package adds lane centering. Think it's the adaptive cruise package, not sure what the package is actually called though.

Are you using cruise control when you notice this? LKA is only used to help keep you in the lane (bounce back and forth between the lines) and works without activating adaptive cruise. Lane Centering is what keeps you in the center of the lane, but this feature is only available while using adaptive cruise.

The OP shows to have the 25 lariat which I think comes std with needed features. Op my need to read the specifics in manual to ensure the settings are setup correctly and the road, speed etc specs are being met

I've used ACC with lane centering for about 55k miles now in 2 Mavericks. It is generally in the center of the lane but I don't sweat the specifics. The only possible adjustment is recalibrating ACC which can be done with forscan, but it's better done by a Ford dealership under warranty - but there's a catch. The dealership has to agree there's a calibration issue, and then report it as a warranty claim to Ford. I hate to be negative, but it's definitely not a sure thing that they will see the behavior the OP described as an issue requiring correction via recalibration, but it's worth asking about.

If you have a road that is under construction, or had recently been under construction and temporary markings are present or recently removed you can get some strange behavior as the system may not correctly read the lane. It also will frequently fail to see lane markers if there's a lot of glare on the windshield, like the first hour after sunrise.

Just yesterday there was a thread where someone was asking a similar question because their truck was centered in the lane and they prefer to favor left in the left lane and favor slightly right in the right lane.

I have the 2022 lariat EB with adaptive cruise control and always kinda felt even the lane centering favors the right side a bit but figured it is just the way I'm used to driving

I had felt the same at first with my new 25 Lariat, but when I pull up the camera and switch to the side views, I see it's dead center in the lane. I suspect that I've been accustomed to hugging the left side of the lane in my previous car which didn't have any driver assist tech.

I have read and Re-Read the User manual several times searching to see If I'm missing something. Lane Assist works just not centered within the lane it just goes off center to the right for my liking.

since you have a '25 with 360 cameras, have you looked at them while driving as ScenicMav mentioned above? your perception may or may not be correct.

Cameras show favoring right . I have a Class A motor Home Legal Max Width of 102" I'm use to Driving in center of Lane. Have Mirrors that show bottom Road & bottom edge of RV so I stay centered. My Acura TLX with Lane Assist is centered compared to the Maverick.

Just trying to figure out if there is an Adjustment that Driver can make to compensate for a more centered driving Or Might need to take to Dealer service and complain. It's not a major right of center but enough for me That I'm constantly pulling back on the steering wheel. Lane Keep assist otherwise works really well and a nice feature.

I answered that question already but I mentioned Forscan without really explaining what it is. I assumed you either knew or would look it up here, if not.

No, there is no adjustment that you can make through any of the menus in the driver's information panel or the center infotainment touchscreen.

Recalibration is a procedure Ford dealerships and licensed 3rd party mechanics can do with their software, FDRS. It is also offered in Forscan, which is a Russian-made software tool that can interface with certain (most, honestly) Ford vehicles and change parameters such as permanently disabling autostop on ecoboost models, or disabling the double honk when exiting the truck while the ignition is on.

At any rate, with Forscan you can recalibrate. I do not know if it can handle fine tuning like this. What I do know is that recalibration is used if the ride height of the vehicle changes a lot, or the ACC radar is replaced, or the system shows certain faults from the IPMA camera or ACC radar.

That's the long version. The short version is that you can ask your dealership to recalibrate and they might do it under warranty, or they might charge you labor time. But no matter how you go about recalibrating, I am personally not sure if it can correct a minor issue like you are describing.

There is a picture of a steering wheel between two lines on your steering wheel. When you set cruise, you should have a green steering wheel indicating the centering is active. If you only see a green car, then you are only on lane keeping. Just push the steering wheel picture to activate. Cruise has to be activated for it to work and the lanes need to be clear. Otherwise, it will default to lane keeping.

If that is correct, then go into the menu on the instrument panel. You should be able to find a setting called "driver assistance" or something like that. Make sure it is set to "Alert+Aid" and adjust the intensity. I have mine set to normal.

I have found it to be very tight in keeping me in the middle of the lane on both my Maverick and Explorer. So, if you have yours set the same I don't know what else it could be.

Taking back to Dealer for Service and The denial of any warranty re-calibration claim is why I'm trying to figure out if this is Normal or not. I really don't want to have dealer mess with anything.

I have used Forscan many times on my Ford Edge, E450 & F53 for making changes etc. Forscan might be an Option for me down the road If I can't live with off center LKA.

So NO user adjustments other than 3rd party re-calibration. This is what I needed to know. Thanks

In my experience it's normal, and in my opinion it's harmless, but if you want to try changing/improving it, that's how.

You will need the current version of Forscan and I'm not sure if it supports ACC recalibration for the 2025 yet. (It didn't work at all, then they got a little working, and they've had more releases since then.)
