Add lane assist to 2024 Maverick XLT

saw a youtube that showed how to turn on some auto drive capability for my maverick. had to replace the signal module and update the register. anyone try this?????

Just to be clear.
You have an XLT with cruise control and your turn signal stock does not look like this?

Technically you don't need to replace the turn signal stalk; you can enable the Lane Keep Assist with just ForScan but it means it's a little trickier to enable/disable on the fly.

That said, 'auto drive capability' is way overselling the functionality of that option. Lane Keep Assist at most (depending on settings) will steer away from lane markings if you start to cross over them and then [likely] drift into the opposing marking to repeat the process. It is not automatic driving, and the 'ping-ponging' behavior will just make you look like someone on a learner's permit.

The more featured Lane Centering (which is still just an assist; far from automatic driving), as the name implies, actually adjusts the steering to maintain a more centered line in the lane. It's not impossible to retrofit, but much more involved as it requires effectively installing the Adaptive Cruise Control suit as well. Radar module, wiring all that, replacing steering wheel buttons, and programming/calibration.

Looks not to be as simple as you describe. This thread is for the hybrid but the EB should be similar.

The title says the OP is looking for Lane assist.
I didn't see anywhere where he's looking for adaptive cruise control.
