Do you have any finished pictures of your setup at all? I just received my HS10 yesterday and debating where to put it. While under the passenger seat is nice, my kids ride in the back frequently and I wouldn't want to cut them off from the heat on cold days, and a/c on warm ones. I think behind the rear seatback is perfect as the only time I would stow the back would be to get the floor jack out.I tried installing this on my own and I am fairly technically inclined. This is not a fun install due to the trim, 10/10 recommend paying someone to install it
I don’t have any right now and the car seats are in lol. I have It behind the passenger rear seat where the b/o sub goes. However I do not have It mounted to it’s just hanging out back thereDo you have any finished pictures of your setup at all? I just received my HS10 yesterday and debating where to put it. Here is what I did with my lopro 10. It's a place holder as I want to test a couple of these units before I decide to build a box.Do you have any finished pictures of your setup at all? Is there a way to power these small subs with built in amps with the factory wiring? Here is what I did with my lopro 10. It's a place holder as I want to test a couple of these units before I decide to build a box.

no, the amplifier itself takes too many amps. The factory wiring is not capable of providing enough safe power for the amp. For the lowpro 10 Sub I have I had to use 8 Gauge wire. I actually ran 4 gauge from the battery to the behind the seat and am using a power distribution block to give power to things I need. I ran my LED bedlights and USB outlets in the bed of the truck into that distribution block that is directly to the battery so I don't have to have the ignition on. Its fuse at all connection points. Is there a way to power these small subs with built in amps with the factory wiring?
I'm working on a solution for this issue. Should have something to show in a week or so.Also a quick note for anybody doing this. I would recommend against drilling anything into the ribbed panels behind the seat. Those screws will end up poking through in the bed as that is all that is separating the passenger compartment from the bed is a thin piece of sheet metal.
Somebody can correct me if I am wrong on this since my method for verifying this was placing a magnet inside on the wall then crawling in the bed to see if I could feel the magnet in the bed.
This is what led me to use all those mounting points as pointed out in the above post's.
Do you know what the bolt thread size is for the #1 through #7 you have marked here at the mounting points? Here is what I did with my lopro 10. It's a place holder as I want to test a couple of these units before I decide to build a box.

I used the following mounting points.

For bolts #1 and #2, those are the stock bolts that I used, they are super long. I don't have young children so I used those bolts. I don't think you would have an issue using these even if you did intend on having a car seat.Do you know what the bolt thread size is for the #1 through #7 you have marked here at the mounting points?
I know this is an old thread but could anybody tell me if those mounting screws are protruding into the bed. I finally got my Maverick 2 weeks ago and the hideaway 10 is on its way now.I wish I could say I did this myself, but I'm not that handy.
Local stereo shop installed and added the Blackhole sound dampening to help eliminate some vibration from the rear window and then just added more to the back panel, it helped.
I hope you can tell from the pictures that it fits perfectly, with room to spare.
It definitely helps kick up the volume, almost to the max, and it comes with a base knob. which I asked them to add near my USB port.
Heavy duty base for sure, not sure if I will take the next step to replace the speakers to add more clarity, for now, I'm enjoying it
