Kicker hideaway HS10 subwoofer installed

I recently installed a kicker hideaway. Everything is working great. One question that I have is that it pops on every time the auto start spot goes off. The easy fix is just to disable the button every time I turn on the vehicle. Is there any different wiring that I can do or is it a battery drain issue between standby and vehicle on?

How do you have the Kicker wired to turn on? Via remote wire to somewhere or speaker input auto-detect?

I had speaker input and dc current.

How did you attached the carpeted backing board?

I took the factory bracket and tapped the 4 holes. The sub hits the back seat a little and I might change it later.

Adding a relay should stop the pop. Where is the ground connected?
