So I got the Belltech 1-1/2" lift kit, had it installed today, and now someone points out that the rear wheel looks too far forward and I can't unsee it. Looking at other builds with lifts, they don't look like they aren't centered. I haven't had it re-aligned yet. Anyone have any insight?

I only did a front end level do I can’t say for sure but it does look off. An alignment was part of my complete level/lift, tires and wheels installation.

I’ll include a side view of my truck for your reference, but again, the only change to the rear was the wheels and tires.

That's how all the lifted Mavericks look. The higher the lift, the more noticeable it is
Based on the photos I've seen on the forum, I'd say no not all of thrm look that off.

Trailing arm moves in an arc. Visually it moves the wheel from the centerline of the rear fender wheel opening.

Wheel forward with suspension extended, wheel rearward with suspension compression.

If they didn't install the roughly 1 inch spacers under the front mounting points for the trailing arms that could accentuate the forward rotation of the wheel. Just a possibility.

Side effect of lower end lift kifts. Some part of the drivetrain isn't accounted for and is altered. Hopefully nothing drastic to performance/ride is effected.

I've just seen others that didn't look this severe. Maybe it's an optical illusion.
That's what I noticed. I'm gonna go over to my mechanic's in the morning and get his thoughts. And call Belltech.

There should be trailing arm drop brackets to keep the rear wheels centered in the opening. They either failed to install them or installed them incorrectly. They are part of the kit.

Because of the trailing arm geometry of the rear suspension, no avoiding it.
The kit came with trailing arm spacers, but there might be a limit as to how thick they are.
I went with the 1-1/2" instead of a 2" kit just to keep stuff like this to a minimum.

A properly engineered kit won’t create issues like that. Are you certain the drop brackets/spacers are actually installed? You should be able to see them. Belltech calls them “drop brackets” in their literature...
