Exactly what I was thinking.By the looks of this poll so far I would say things are pretty much gonna play out the same as last year.
Less.Guessing that Hybrids will be sold out in a month.
There's another thread that stated Ford will close the order bank sometime next week for the Maverick. It stated demand far exceeded their quota.Guessing that Hybrids will be sold out in a month.
I'm thinking Ford may have to recalibrate that percentage, just based on the sheer number of Hybrids I've seen people ordering in the last 2 days. Gas prices have dropped, but not enough, hybrid still really appealing. Just saw Honda is bringing out a 2023 HYBRID CRVIs it possible to switch your order to Ecoboost and keep your place in line if it comes down to it? Really do want the hybrid, though. Don't like the fact that the Hybrids are only 35% of the production run, and that's down from 40% in 2022.
The margins are likely better on the ecoboost as well. After the order banks close we will mostly only see highly optioned hybrid dealer stock, it at all.Wouldn't surprise me if shortages in batteries and lithium as it's core component is the reason why Ford scaled hybrid production down to 35%.
Can't build more hybrids if they don't have the parts.I'm thinking Ford may have to recalibrate that percentage, just based on the sheer number of Hybrids I've seen people ordering in the last 2 days.
I remember I saw it 8 month ago on this web. But, how authentic it is. I don't know. Also, stats for 2023.Are there stats of EB vs Hybrid production numbers for 22s?
