By the looks of this poll so far I would say things are pretty much gonna play out the same as last year.

Is it possible to switch your order to Ecoboost and keep your place in line if it comes down to it? Really do want the hybrid, though. Don't like the fact that the Hybrids are only 35% of the production run, and that's down from 40% in 2022.

Guessing that Hybrids will be sold out in a month.
There's another thread that stated Ford will close the order bank sometime next week for the Maverick. It stated demand far exceeded their quota.

I'm thinking Ford may have to recalibrate that percentage, just based on the sheer number of Hybrids I've seen people ordering in the last 2 days. Gas prices have dropped, but not enough, hybrid still really appealing. Just saw Honda is bringing out a 2023 HYBRID CRV

Wouldn't surprise me if shortages in batteries and lithium as it's core component is the reason why Ford scaled hybrid production down to 35%.

I think it will be much harder

The margins are likely better on the ecoboost as well. After the order banks close we will mostly only see highly optioned hybrid dealer stock, it at all.

Can't build more hybrids if they don't have the parts.

Well, all this is not lost on the other automakers that build trucks. They were caught flatfooted in regard to the compact truck segment but they are gonna go great guns to get a piece of their pie.

Ordered hybrid. But remember last year: How long hybrid bank was opened vs eco boost. Since projected quantity for 2022 was 100k. As I am reading this year 2023 will be 80k.

I remember I saw it 8 month ago on this web. But, how authentic it is. I don't know. Also, stats for 2023.

Nothing in concrete from what I've seen, but Ford anticipated 40 percent hybrids last year. They closed ordering for them in November. Many people ordered the Ecoboost rather than wait another year. No doubt the actual percentage of hybrids if they had been available would have been much, much higher and this poll kind of backs that up.
