Unfortunately I'm going to pass for now. I notice this item is frequently returned for compatibility issues, primarily hyperflash & turn signal error msgs. That's what I experienced with the other unit I tried, and I could not find a way to overcome with FORScan. I was able to stop hyperflash but not the persistent error msgs, and loss of reverse gear lane markings & warnings. I was hoping to force "charging tricks" discovered by Mavster Mechanic w/o using lights. So, back to using lights, which absolutely works.
Russ I'm guessing it's a 2026 vs 2025 model difference. I was so hoping to use a plug in device for additional rear illumination & full 12v battery charging w/o side affects. I'm not giving up but now have no workaround. Just the loss of Reverse backup assist lines would be a no-go for my wife. And, if wife not happy, we all know. Lol. Good luck. Oh, do you really have an option in trailer setup for height? 25MY doesn't.
That explains it. 26MY has expanded trailer parameters that must allow things to work that are inhi item on the 2025. I just have height & width. Thanks and enjoy your ride.
