Is there any way to tell a Maverick's year by looking at it?

Many vehicles change something, however slight, some feature each year so that if you are knowledgeable about it you can tell it's year by looking at it.
Does the Maverick have anything distinctive between 2022 and 2023 and the upcoming 2024?
In cars in the 60's and 70's even if nothing changes you could sometimes look at the embossed printing in the taillight to see it's year. Short of looking at the VIN is there anything that can tell a Maverick's year?

Yep.

If it is a Lariat and has that black strip down the hood, likely a 2022.

If you are looking at a Lariat and it does not have the factory SIBL or the ACC sensor, that's a 2023.

If it is a Lariat and has side mirrors with a black backing and no evidence of the BAP, it is a 2024.

I did think of if no cruise contol on an XL, it's a 2022 - but that's looking inside to the steering wheel on a certain trim level - like the trim level differences other's have pointed out.
And the omission of something isn't conclusive - like no sliding manual rear window doesn't necessarily mean it's a 2024.

I was kind of meaning looking at the body for any slight changes between the years across all trims - I don't think that exists.
So my knowledge gained from waiting so long for this truck and going so deep down the rabbit hole benefits me by knowing the different trim levels packages and years.
That seems to be the only way.
But I don't know much about the upper level trims as I never considered them.
No body panel differences?

EDIT: You know my Tremor is a 2023 because it is Avalanche Gray (Contractor White)

You know my Tremor is a 2023 because it is an XLT with:

- Manual rear sliding window
- Painted mirror caps
- Securipad keypad

No body panel differences or other obvious differences I'm aware of.

Usually such changes are added to keep things "Fresh" after a model has been out awhile. Ford is just trying to build trucks for now, no need to change anything yet.

No. Nothing that screams model year. MY25 or MY26 might be when Ford refreshes the look. Even then, I doubt it will be too different on the exterior.

Look at the VIN. 22 MY has a N as the 10th character, whereas 23 MY has an P as the 10th character.

What black strip? Are you talking about the first edition decal?

(I have a '22 Lariat Lux, but no black strip down the hood)
