I want the doors to lock and unlock when I either select the button on the door or with my key fob and not when moving 12 mph and again when I put car in park.
WHAT IS AUTOLOCK

Autolock locks all the doors when you start driving.
Note: Depending on your vehicle’s market or regional requirements and installed equipment, you may not be able to switch autolock on and off.

WHAT IS AUTOUNLOCK

Autounlock is a feature that centrally unlocks the vehicle doors when your vehicle comes to a stop and you open the driver door using the interior door handle.

AUTOUNLOCK REQUIREMENTS

Autounlock only works if all the preconditions are met:
  1. The vehicle speed exceeds 12 mph (20 km/h).
  1. Your vehicle comes to a stop.
  1. You open the driver door.
Note: Autounlock operates for only 10 minutes after the ignition is switched off.

SWITCHING AUTOUNLOCK ON AND OFF

  1. From the settings menu, press Vehicle.
  1. Press Locks.
  1. Switch Autounlock on or off.
Took less than a minute to find this and I don't have a 2025.

25 Mav Hybrid.....Even thou there is a setting on the far right screen to disable the doors locking when you hit 12 mph and open back up when you put truck in park....it doesn't work...then the dealership said it's on the steering screen but when you go there there is only 1 entry under door locks this about the toeing???? So question is it possible to disable this annoying setting? Thanks.

I'd be very curious for a picture of the info center setting that appears would disable the auto-locking on driving.

You are in US market with most of us - betting that is not an option.
Because of, well, goofballs that went out the door too easily upon driving.
As well as kids not obeying or parents not watching alerts.

No it can't be done to stop autolock. Right in the manual how to turn off auto unlock. But the door doesn't unlock until you open it. But of course you want it unlocked all the time. So I tested today while driving at 55 MPH and you can UNLOCK the doors with the button. I tested at less than 3 mph on my driveway and with the door unlocked if I open the door the transmission slams into park. So if you want to destroy your transmission you can repeatedly open the door while moving.
I still don't understand why you want the doors to remain unlocked all the time. Hoping to be carjacked?

Naugh...A carjacker will just bust the windows out if he really wants in

Maybe on 7 mph in different years.
Seems to be at about 13 miles an hour on my 2023 XLT hybrid.

I could be wrong, but I believe that the reason for this is that in a collision, a locked door has one more bit stopping the door from opening than an unlocked door.

If this is correct, there is no way that a manufacturer would leave a way to turn it off, as it would be a massive liability problem if the door opened in a collision.

At the other extreme, I had a rental PT cruiser about 20 years ago.

Due to the blizzard, we left it running while we loaded it.

When I closed the final door (the back), the psychotic thing locked itself!

Fortunately I was still at home and could wait inside until Enterprise showed up with another key.

You bought therwrong vehicle then, & I doubt you can buy anything new that will do what you want unless it doesn't have power locks. Maybe a Chevy WT?

Like I said in earlier post. It's not a catastrophic thing. I just wanted to disable it if possible...no real biggie...just annoying to me. My 2023 Subaru Outback was able to disable this for example.

Have you ever had someone try to open your door when stopped at a light? -- I have! They did not break the glass, and I was able to drive away before they could do any harm. I like the feature. Also, someone said about locked doors helping prevent the doors flying open in an accident. Both great safety features.
