It's for my wife and this is her first new vehicle in 12 years so it seamed appropriate.

Heated everything, bed liner, auto up and down windows, the seat material (had toyota’s version called softex in my 4runner), power rear window, push button start, all things I wanted so i got the luxury lariat package. Oh and the bigger dash screen, although I had thought there would be some digital gauges for battery, oil, and boost.

I like everything about the Lux package except the colors they chose for the seats and plastics. The brown and copper clashes with the blue and grey and in my opinion isn’t going to age well.. Just my thoughts.

I didn't get it because it's a second vehicle and my other one is fully loaded. I figured I either could get rid of my car and fully load the Maverick or go simple on the Maverick and keep the fun car. I chose the latter. I think all the features of the lux package are great and if it's your only vehicle it's worth it.

The lux package on the XLT has the cloth seats, only the Lariat trim gets the ActiveX seating.

If they offered a package that was just heated seats and a steering wheel, I would gladly pay the $2k for that. All the other stuff is just a bonus

I have on order an hybrid xlt lux 360. If I don’t get scheduled soon I may upgrade to Lariat because of the quieter windshield and push button keyless entry.
But at tge end I may not do it is because ford will announce plug in or even full electric maverick sooner or later. I would jump on those right away. it can’t be more than 2-3 years

When I was a kid my parents had a 59 Chevy wagon.

The XL is luxury to me.

I added it to my order because I was able to talk the wife into it after she drove my current, stripped, Elantra. She hated the non power seats, I was able to use that to get her to agree... I could do without the options, but the biggest for me is the heated side mirrors. I like the heated steering wheel as well...

I have decided to go for the driver aids the Lariat Lux offers. Lane centering I hope will make long drives less tiring, as long as the road is in good condition. Yes I'm in the older group.
