Did not get the LUX package because living in Florida the number of times using the heated equipment is very limited, besides it requires additional chips, which can make a big difference on the delivery of your truck. Ford is currently prioritizing production to those orders without LUX due to chips' shortage, I believe. You can leather wrap the steering wheel afterwards, 400W/110V outlets you can add it separately same as LED Box Lighting. Bed tie down locking rails and driver power seats would be nice to have, but not a must IMHO.

I ordered the Lariat AWD w/ luxury. Liked the colors better than the XLT. Like that I can lock/unlock the door just by putting my hand on handle. Heated components nice for here in Michigan. Better radio too.

I too hate plasticy steering wheels. Real turn off. In New England, heated seats are key. Also liked bed liner and tow hitch.
Think I'll like remote start. Never had it before, but again...New England.
*Laughs in Minnesotan* 🤣

Ordered the XLT Lux because I was already looking to add about half the options anyway (Inverter, Tie Downs, SIBL, Box Light, Hitch). I had no interest in the heated options, but living in Canada I suspect they, as well as remote start, will get the most use out of everything in the Lux package.

Currently driving a base 2008 Ranger Sport where the only luxuries are tilt steering (because it's stick) and cruise. Still rocking the manual windows and doors! This is my first new vehicle purchase, so I might as well live a little and go luxurious!
