Is 4k Towing Package Worth It

Thank you all! I've decided to get the 4k package since most of the price differences on the PHX area are pretty close. Does anyone have experience buying a new previous year model? Aka a new 2025 from a dealer. Wondering if it's worth it and what kind of discount if any to expect.

If you can still order a 2026, what would the price be for one equipped exactly the way you want it.?
There are instances where an ordered Maverick will come in cheaper than leftover stock. Sure the dealer wants to sell the 2025 but he also may have months worth of floor plan costs invested in it.
You need to really price out what an ordered 2026 would cost.

The price would probably be equal or slightly more from the factory based on my estimation. The bigger issue is that wait time since I currently don't have a vehicle.

You're pretty much at the mercy of a dealership in what they have on the lot.

Yea I kind of figured . The build and price came to 36,616. So after taxes 39k+.

That's the number I came up with, for an ordered 2026

At least you have a number to negotiate with. Next you have to figure out the out the door price you're willing to pay and then stick to it.

100% Worth it. I've had to tow things I never imaged I would need to. LOL

4k tow should be mandatory on the Ecoboosts. The additional cooling is going to extend the life of the drivetrain, and the more aggressive gearing enhances acceleration & city fuel economy.

It's a bargain compared to trying to add comparable equipment after the fact.

I don't know where "Chandler" is, but if it's somewhere hot, you would benefit from the additional cooling the package provides.

Chandler- suburb of Phoenix - Hell like heat.
I live in AZ as well and bought 4K Tow for the cooling upgrades alone.

IMO, CoPilot is practically a necessary and super beneficial Safety Feature, IMO its nuts not to have that.
I assume your financing, spreading the 750 or 1500 out over the x years of financing is not going to affect the payment very much. Price a stripped version with your bare min, calculate the payments, then do the same with the recommended features, I betting it will be a minor difference in payments.
If your paying case what such a big deal of 750/1500 on a $38K truck

Old Ford guy is spot on regarding co-pilot 360. I never dreamed how often I'd use & appreciate those features. I have the 2025 Hybrid AWD 4K tow. I seldom tow anything anymore, but I have in the past, & may in the future. I also quit saying 100% chance Yes or No anymore - so having that towing, AWD capability is important to me.
