FYI, if you don't feel like advertising for EGR, the letters peel off really easily.

Seriously leaning toward pulling the trigger on these deflectors. I like the look and in channel install. Did you have to use the tape on the rear ones?

The tape was already on them. I peeled off the plastic protector strip and installed them. Didn’t even think of not peeling them.

With out the tape and the angle of the front windows, I'd be afraid of the rears slipping out.

That’s why the tape is there. It adheres to the rubber seal in the channel to keep the deflector in place.

I got the EGR bug deflector off Amazon and it doesn't do anything. My windshield is covered in bug guts.

The bug deflecter is to protect the leading edge of the hood. If you want to cut down on windshield splatter go old school like this…
