Improved the ugly front end on 2026 Maverick XLT w/ black wrap on 2025+ facelift bumper

regarding all the dash hate heaped upon the OP... it may be that he truly had a defective dash from the supplier or something about his cowl was imperfect. he might have just had a poor example and it was near impossible to to achieve a quiet dash/cowl interface. he lost the dash lottery.

I have a 2024.. no rattles in the dash... and that's even with about 15 months spent in Mexico with constant speed bumps (topes) and many unimproved roads. It still doesn't rattle. I won the dash lottery. I did have a squeak in the rear seat, especially when the armrest was down, but that's gone away. I had a creak in the headliner when pulled over on the shoulder and a semi blew by over 80mph... I heard a large suction boom and had a headliner squeak for about 6 months... that went away too. go figure.

back on topic, I think the eye shadow works perfectly on that space white vehicle! seriously, it looks good.

I will agree that it does look “better” than stock. But will never look as cool as a 22-24!

Actually looking at yours all pretty - I think the black would look pretty good on EG too but I am more than happy with the current look.

Looks much better. Front end kept me from buying a 2025. Glad I kept my 2024. Probably the best vehicle I've owned.

I just received my 26 XLT in space white and really didn’t like the new front end.

I had the ski slopes by the headlights wrapped in satin black and I think, while not perfect, it’s better in appearance.

It really depends on colors. On white trucks i think you nailed it with the black wrap. I actualy like the 2025 front better than the previous models specificaly on the Carbon Greys like mine

Huge improvement. It might be another improvement if the black wrap mimicked the pattern of the grill.

Not far fetched...When the Mini-Copper first came out a user had a banging noise on the right side of the cabin every time he accelerated or touched the brakes. Dealer took out the dash, side panels, etc, etc. After several months dealer never found the problem but being agreeable with an unhappy customer they replaced the Mini-Copper.

Few months later the dealer service manager discovered the banging noise in the traded in Mini...it was a music CD in the passenger door pocket...dealer called original owner and offered to return the music CD to the customer.

it's really simple, if you don't like how the '25 maverick looks- get an older one or buy a Santa Cruz.

Not my truck and none of my business… but to me it looks like a replacement plastic body panel that the owner couldn’t afford to have painted body color.
