You didn't mislead; only asked the question incorrectly.

Well, we already touched on the topic of how you get in.

Here's two ways to get out.

1. Non-destructive method (no clean-up required and preferred): Did you notice, when you thoroughly read your user's manual, that mention was made of door lock/unlock levers, thoughtfully provided by the manufacturer, and are part of the interior door handles?
As @Carlitos_92 indicated early in this thread, they can be manually operated from inside the vehicle and not affected by battery state of charge.
Next time you're sitting in it, hit the lock and unlock buttons of the fob. Those things that move are the lock/unlock levers. Clever, huh?

2. Destructive method (clean-up required): Break a window.

Easily the Smoothest, most humorous well-written and subtle ‘Enough of this Madness!’ response I think I’ve ever read on MTC.

Plus , I guessed #2 was coming. Thanks for the grin!

Pull the plug on Hal....no more Hal.
Kinda simple solution.
If you are locked in a Maverick and the battery is dead, maybe you should be in a Yugo?
Yugo. No need to lock the doors. No one will steal it. No need to fasten the seat belt, cause you ain't goin' anywhere anyway.

Lol, if that is directed at me, no I'm not trolling, I'm just dumb. ;)

I did not try that because no has specifically said "unlock the manual switch on the door and then try it from the outside."

The pics are overkill, but you are correct. Thanks.
Let's make it easier for you, turn in your drivers license and take an limo. The driver will open and close the door for you.

You're welcome and thanks!
There are so many opportunities like this in any automobile forum that sometimes I just give in to the temptation. This was one of those times.
Glad you got a chuckle.

Thx for your reply. Sorry to mislead you but my concern is if I am inside the car and the battery is dead how do I unlock the doors/and windows to exit the car.
Easy, pull on the little lock tab located conveniently near the drivers left hand on the door itself.

Of course I gotta get in my truck in order use it.
🤔
I unplugged the wires with the clamps and hooked them on the jump posts then placed the "blonde" aka female end hanging out of the grill!
Also:
A blonde girl asked her co worker why he carried a thermos. He Said it keeps hot stuff hot. And cold stuff cold.

The next day she comes to work with a thermos and her co worker asked what she brought. She proudly said ice cream and soup.

Seriously though, manually, from the inside, you can open the doors.
a couple of years ago, a subgenus sued GM after spending a day or two locked in his corvette in the garage when the battery ws dead.

there he was, trapped in the car with nothing but the manual in the glovebox, which explained that the mechanical release was along the bottom of the door . . .

Reminds me of the story of the blond who was locked out of her convertible . . . with the top down.
I talked with a tow truck driver a few years ago. He described, with chagrin, a call he had for a gal locked in her car.

He grimaced. "Yes, she was blond."

and again. He was polish. "Yes, she was polish." (he was polish) And shook his head.

But then he explained: she was in a Datsun (possibly identifying as "Nissan" by that point; I don't recall.). She had run into the concrete post for really bad drivers in font of a 7-11. This completely knocked out the electrical in the car, which the door release needed,

I just tried to find the mind-90s blondest audio file (wmv?), but only could find dorktube renditions of it.

In it, a blonde calls blondestar, as she's trapped in her car, and the agent works her through the door latch and so forth.

The A-pillar blind spot on my Chevy Volt was huge.
try a Miata with the top up. (OK,a dumb thing to do in general, but sometimes it rains hard and you're driving below 40!)

It doesn't so much have "blind spots" as a couple of "vision spots" in the back 180 degrees! [spekaing form experience. I put under 1k with the top up in the 70k I drove it]

Two blonds are walking in the woods when they came across some tracks.

One said "Those look like black bear tracks".
The other said "No dummy, those are grizzly bear tracks."

While they stood there and argued a train came along and hit them.
