The switch on the right activates your brake hold function. When you pull up to a stop light with it turned on, you can take your foot off of the brake pedal and the brakes will stay engaged. Just press the gas and off you go.
I doubt it, but if there is a way outside of hooking a laptop to the vehicle and fumbling around in the computer it would be in the owner's manual, either paper version or online. I would like to point out that I have the same feature on my 22 Mav Lariat, and the very discernable clicking noises...
What's the 20 year old truck that gets 25mpg? My Maverick is a 2.0 so cannot claim hybrid mileage as it is backwards but my combined average is around 26 MPG. A recent road trip was averaging 32 MPG on the highway, that got me excited.
I don't appreciate your disparaging tone there. I'm 60+, an industrial maintenance tech by trade, and have been working on vehicles since the 70s. It is not what you are saying, it is the worthless photo that you posted that is in question here.

2022 Lariat AWD 4K tow, I consistently get 27 mpg combined average, have seen as low as 25 mpg and as high as 31 mpg but have not seen any inconsistencies like you are experiencing.
