Well, I decided to go for it and ordered another Ford Maverick Lariat. This time, I included the FX4 package for the extra $800 since it offers hill descent control that will be needed when I eventually move back up north. I also chose a different color, Hot Pepper Red Metallic. I've always enjoyed metalflake colors that speckle in the sun. Plus, they do a better job at hiding imperfections. My sales manager says that it'll more than likely be another half year wait like my first one. What's reassuring is that since it's an Ecoboost, the chance of it being built is much greater than the constrained Hybrids. He also said that a lot of Mavericks have already been scheduled for the month of November so they'll be pumped out in a timely manner. This shows that the production of the Maverick is improving.

I've enjoyed my current Maverick so much that I would want to order it again (despite price increases) and that's what I did. What's great is not having a drastic change in scenery. I almost decided to get a Subaru but they're too small, expensive, and I would kick myself for losing the practicality of a pickup bed. It's been a great truck for me which is why I decided to stick with the Maverick. It's very comfortable to drive, practical, fuel efficient, looks good, and is a great conversation starter for interested onlookers. I sure can't wait for my next one! Thanks for reading.

I ordered a Maverick Lariat tremor and it is supposed to be built the last week of november. So, it may not take as long as you think.

Even Hybrids are getting much, much faster. I ordered my second Lariat Hybrid this July...no rollover 491 day wait like last time, and it is already scheduled for 11/27 week.

I also have two on order. The 23 rollover Lariat Hybrid was built and shipped on Nov 4th. The new Lariat Hybrid order I placed in July was shipped on Nov 5th. So they are shipping at least in the Lariat trim.

It will be nice to see this board go to mostly talking about our trucks that we have instead of talking about trucks we are waiting on.

Congratulations Connor and thanks for being a member of the Ford family!
I've been waiting 414 days for a Maverick XL Ecoboost. Maybe you could help me get a truck! After talking to Ford and the dealer, I am yet to find out what is taking so long. Priority 03, clean, unscheduled. Should be a priority 02 since it is a rollover order.

That would be nice. Might happen in '24 for Lariat and XLT. XL will likely take until '25, '26 or longer with the low production volume compared to order volume.

So many different types for Mav owners. Some re-up on a Lariat every 2 years. Others buy an XL and keep it 'till you pry it from their "cold dead fingers", haha.

No doubt that Subaru offers a nice smooth driving experience. I just couldn't get over how much luxury crap they stuff it with and the high price and trims. Subwoofer hogging the cargo area and sunroof hogging the roof and taking headroom. Beyond the very rare Base trim, Subaru is no long a utility vehicle now caters to older rich people. I'd rather just slow down in bad weather in the Maverick.

I see Ford chimed in here; interesting, i also had a 23 rollover that was a priority 02 , then it moved to 03, no explanation. Please also note; Ford built in Oct the last week full week Both 23 and 24's , i saw on Inventory site. FYI; Dealer stock orders jumped ahead of long standing Customer Orders. So obviously Priority is a JOKE. My dealer can't be bothered to email me back with a actual $$# when the ordered comes, so i have a unit in transit reserved , i found that's probably the best way to go. Search around find a Unit coming to a dealer, reserve it.

I ordered a 24 Lariat hybrid the first day the order banks opened, and it shipped this week and is on the way to me.
