I ordered a MY24 Lariat hybrid in the new azure gray the day the order banks opened. About a month later I received a build date for the week of Oct 30. Was a little surprised and very excited to get one the exact way I wanted it configured and not have to wait a terribly long time for it. Yesterday I was getting my old car oil changed and found out there was a MY23 that just become available a few hours earlier, and with the exception of the color was configured close to the one I ordered. After some long discussions and negotiations, I purchased it knowing if I didn't end up wanting it, I can still get my order when it comes in. Last night and today have been a dream driving around in it.

Here it is in all its glory. I have joined the North Texas Maverick club and look forward to our next outing. See you then!

That's a mighty nice lookin truck. Looks like the Alto Blue Metallic which is no longer avail in the MY24. And I'll bet it has the push button start. Something that the XL or XLT does not have. My XLT uses the funky key start. The key is spring loaded on the FOB and I have this feeling that the spring will fail at some point. Basically, that is the only gripe I have with my truck so far so enjoy the ride.

Thanks, and yes, I believe all the Lariats have the push button start. A great feature my old car had and really convenient. It also has the co-pilot360 assist, which is only available on the Lariat and another reason I ordered this model. It is alto blue and I am torn between keeping it and getting the one I ordered when it arrives. I have had those spring-loaded keys in the past and I never had any problems with them, although once you get used to a push button start it is hard to go back.

With the push button start I don't ever use the keypad as the door locks and unlocks by touching the handle. So not a big deal for me.
