The 2025 redesign is supposed to look like a pair of horns attached to the top of a “Maverick’s” head. The grille is the head and the headlight assemblies are the horns.

Now I like it more than before.
It works better with certain colors IMHO

The grill on the 25 reminds me of a certain Hundai model.
I’d have never noticed the so called attempt of the head lights to look like horns until I read it in here.
Now all I see is bull horns.
I’m seeing 25’s out and about. People I ask love the front end.
I counted yesterday while in Town.
Small town, bout 30,000 or so.
In one five mile ride in town I counted NINE Mavericks. Three were 25’s

lol- thanks for the observation. We also have a Volvo XC 60. When you look closely the light design represents “Thor’s hammer”’.

A brass shower curtain ring where the front license plate mounts would complete the look.

The funny thing is that none of the buyers of the 2022 thru 2024 Mavericks are trying to make changes to the front of there trucks, because they look like trucks, not "COWS" whatever you else it appears in your head!
they just ddint know what they were missing. now that its been pointed out and we cant unsee it...the floodgate of mods will open...or maybe not.
I didn't notice the "ski ramps", the "under bite", the "horns", or whatever view people have about the '25 front end until it was pointed out. To me it looked like a truck. But when people started pointing out the awkward "views", it was hard to unsee them. So when someone pointed out the horns, I thought, "If I HAVE to see something, I'd rather it be that."

But truthfully after owning the truck for 2 months, when I happen to see the front end of my 2025, I don't really see anything accept the front end of a truck. It doesn't look great; it doesn't look awful; it just looks like a truck.

In that regard, Ford DID make it look like the front end of a TRUCK!

I was just now years old when I even realized what a Maverick was. Guess I was thinking of the "unorthodox person" definition this whole time. Honestly wasn't even aware of the "unbranded calf" definition.

And I feel even dumber now that there are horns in the darn MTC logo.

Regardless, I guess I'm now a little more OK-er with the front end refresh then.

I'm glad for those who like this redesign; clearly it speaks to many. It's still not for me, and that's a shame since there are several extras available for the 25s that aren't available for earlier models.

‘If this front end is wrong I don’t want to be right’

I think the green looks really good!
But as an University of Michigan grad, blue is my color. My older brother graduated from Michigan State University, so green is definately his color. The new front end looks good in the pic.
