I did the DIY spray bedliner thing … in orange!

Hey all, sharing bc I’m pretty jazzed. I took this post and this post and combined them to do my own orange bedliner!

This took a couple days of prep, because I was meticulous about sanding and taping.

I bought the 4 qt Raptor tintable liner kit and Safety Orange tint, sanded the whole bed, and got after it. It ended up a great color irl (not quite as neon as the 2nd picture suggests).
I’m so proud I just had to share!

It looks great. I want to see the orange bed liner on a cyber orange Maverick.

I wonder if a dark brown or a blue to match the interior would look better for that

Hey, would you mind sharing a picture of your tailgate? I want to know how they taped off the lines for you. I definitely have a few gaps where you can see Area 51 coming through. I’ll take a pic of my lines to post tonight.

It's funny I was deciding between the Maverick, Santa Cruz, and Bronco last year and as a HUGE Islanders/Mets fan when I saw the interior of the XLT it instantly sold me. I know a lot of people don't like it but I specifically chose the Maverick over the other two options due to the orange highlights.

Is this stuff a rubber like its a little bit soft like tires or is it rock hard like nonskid?

Mine hasn't fully cured yet, but I imagine it's going to be pretty hard, like a normal bedliner. There are instructions that come with the bottle on how to make it a little bit softer if you like, but I didn't opt for that.

not a fan of the orange interior in the XLT, but really like that bedliner......very nice!!!!!!!!!

That is hideous!

Granted, my daughter is talking about going to either Auburn or Alabama as part of their ROTC programs, but I'll wear Space Force gear before I put on orange.
